Hey, so my child has 30hours free at nursery I did have her going in for everyday but I feel like sometimes she doesn’t want to go in. Am I selfish for keeping her home with me she does go in 3 days out of 5. Does anyone else feel like this? She goes to school in September. She does enjoy it but she also enjoys spending time with me, and I her.

I can't see how that's selfish in any way. Why would it be?

It's lovely to have the balance of nursery and time at home if you don't need to be at work.

I think that’s a nice balance. It’s what works for you.

My son does this too, as long as he’s happy I’m happy :-) you’re not being selfish, plus I don’t like the nursery he’s in and feel when decides to stay home at least I know he’s safe and I can see what he’s doing :-)

I think that’s fine as long as you give up your place and officially reduce your hours. I had a friend who used to just keep her dd home whenever she felt like it, which I think is quite selfish as it means people who are working and really need that place on those days couldn’t use it.
