Advice on ceiling light!

I won a competition and have £250 to spend on a posh homeware shop. I've seen a lovely ceiling light which casts shadows when the light is on, would it look odd on a slanted ceiling? I'll attach pictures

Being honest, I think it would probably be ok but not live up to it's full potential there. It is a landing? There's already quite a lot going on with the corners, coving, picture rail thing (is that what it is? I've not seen one squared off vertically like that before).

Is there somewhere else you can put it or are you specifically looking to replace that shade?
