Starting a new job soon and will be on my feet constantly so wondering if anyone has any suggestions on good supportive shoes please? Black trainers or something would be suitable. I've been a SAHM for 5 years so this is all new to me!

Sketchers! I love mine, like walking on pillows and really hard wearing too.

Thank you! I thought Skechers but then my new boss said no trainers but have ordered the microburst one up which are a more formal style!

I don't know if you can get them in UK but virtually everyone I know here in Australia who works in healthcare and are on their feet all day (including me) wear Frankie4's

Clarks unstructured range are excellent. Nurses swear by them. Expensive but doubt you'll get a comfier shoe. They do more formal ones too

Hotters' laceups. Range of styles. Leather, flowery canvas, trainers... online mostly. They are all I wear: skirts, trousers, dresses, whatever..

Clarks unstructured. If you know your size in Clarks there are loads of good bargains on eBay.

The school I work at have s no trainer rule but I wear sketcher type ballet style shoes.
the ones I just brought are from shoe zone of all places and cost £12.99!! All black ballet slipper style in a mesh material so cool for the summer

not ultra stylish or even really stylish at all but we have so many rules about what can and can’t be worn that these fit the criteria are comfortable and don’t have a logo on. That’s another rule no logo!

Hi, I swear by trainer brogues - looks like a brogue but comfy as a trainer. I am a teacher and on my feet all day - dress code is no trainers - these do the job. Trainer brogue style shoe
