Is this kosher? - anyone know anything about it? I have been asked to sign a document about my absence of criminal record with this.

Yes it’s just an electronic signature website/service

TeeBee · 05/05/2022 14:27

I'm usually asked to sign contracts using this method. Its a very quick and easy way of doing it. Saves printing, scanning and sending emails.

Think of DocuSign as the pen - it’s the platform to sign docs and is highly secure - but it’s not the doc itself. But do consider if the request has come from a legit source and that you’re expecting it.

It's totally kosher and really useful

My daughter and I had to sign her tenancy agreement with this

Mischance · 05/05/2022 14:35

Thanks for the reassurances. The signature bears no relation to my real one!

Yes I've used it for a few years and on complex contracts.

itsmeagainlol · 10/05/2022 13:39

My solicitor uses it so it's safe

blackheartsgirl · 10/05/2022 13:45

I’ve recently had to use docusign, it’s fine and safe

NeedWineNow · 10/05/2022 14:01

It's fine. I work for a large City law firm and we started using it during the first lockdown. It's used most of the time now.
