How many hours of sleep do you get?

I often can't sleep until 3am+ even on days I have to be up getting ready for work at 4am. You would think I'd be out as soon as I hit the sack but often I'm up for two days straight. Is this normal? A lot of my gfs with 2+ kids are like zombies too

Nine hours on average each night.

Not normal. Please go and see your GP. Sleep deprivation (especially only getting 1 hour some nights) is dangerous and can impact on numerous other aspects of your health, one being life expectancy.

I get around 3/4 hours a night on a bad night and 6/7 on a good night

Asleep between 9-10pm and up between 6-7am.

Usually 4-6, often broken.
I have two young kids.
I dont sleep enough.

Personally, if I wake up later than 9am I feel unproductive and like I've wasted good free time.

It's not that there's anything wrong with sleeping until afternoon, but it would be incompatible with how I prefer to spend my time, and I'd probably resent that incompatibility.
