Worrying Too Much About Things

I wondered if anyone could give me some tips on how not to worry and stress about things and situations that haven't happened yet and may never happen!

I have always been a worrier but gradually, as I have got older (and started the menopause) my "worrying" has got worse. I am on HRT which has helped my menopause symptoms in alot of ways but I can't seem to get a handle on this worrying habit of mine.

Is there any techniques I can practice that can help stop me stressing so much about stuff that 8 times out of 10 doesn't happen.

Thanks

What dose of HRT are you on? Sounds like you might benefit from increasing your oestrogen. I was exactly the same but things seem to have improved now I’m on 3 pumps of Oestrogel (equivalent to 75mg patch).

I like to listen to daoists such as Wayne Dyer and Alan Watts on you tube when I find worry starts to take over.

I'm a worrier too. I allow myself 5 minutes either during the day or before I go to sleep to think about my worries, then time is up and I visualise putting them in a box, sealing it and putting it on a high shelf. By allowing myself to explore the worries but with a time limit seems to help.
