Hi. Hoping someone can give me sone advice please?
following marriage break up, I have moved in with my parents.
I have started a universal credit claim received my first statement.
Its made a deduction of over £6500 for my wages this month ( i received approx £500 in wages for last month as my last salary having lost my job). I’ve checked with HMRC and I can see the £500 declared which is correct.
Anyone any ideas where this £6500 has come from. Parents income perhaps? Surely Uc dont take my parents income off my award?
Really confused and of course its a bank holiday and they arent open.
