Has been sentenced to 2 years 6 months prison sentence for tax dodging.

I’m quite shocked , I thought he’d be heavily fined.

I thought he might get more like 5 years to be honest.

I think he was expecting a prison sentence. I think if he hadn’t managed to escape prison (albeit in Germany) for a similar dishonest offence, or hadn’t committed the offence in 2002 he might have just got a suspended sentence this time.

i have a relative who is a solicitor, they thought he'd get 4 years, so he's not done too badly

What an idiot. I feel oddly disappointed in him.

I quite like BB but he deserves jail. End of.

I thought he was sentenced for hiding assets I.e fraud. I think he has previously been convicted of tax evasion but did not get custodial sentence for that.

I think he was found guilty of tax evasion in Germany 20 years ago. No custodial sentence.
