Hip and Trendy London Bars and Restaurants

I have been Googling but wondered if anyone knew of some good places which have some nice ‘Chilled Ibiza’ type music playing in the background. I can see some nice rooftop bars but, without sounding like a real fuss-pot, I want somewhere quite elegant without too many people crammed in!

Depends when you go and what part of London to be fair. Central London Thursday to Saturday you won't find anywhere that's not massively rammed with after workers and out of towners.
The villagey parts of the city might be a slightly better bet for that sort of music- Chelsea, Putney etc.
Try Peckham, Stockwell and Brixton to find smaller places that have DJs who play a lot of Latin, Salsa etc but they're generally not 'elegant' by any stretch of the imagination.

Do you know much about the 10 degrees sky bar? Top floor of the Hilton, Central London? It looks good on all the Google searches and there’s a DJ for background, chill out tunes I think.

No specific experience of the 10* bar I'm afraid but if it's anything like most other central London hotel bars it will be relatively low key.
You could try Pocket Change or Seabird if you want somewhere a bit less central/ touristy?
