Time off sick Covid

I have been really sick with Covid. Over 7 days and I’ve now been told I need a Fit Note. I did a LF test which confirmed diagnosis but didn’t do a PCR. (In wales I don’t think you can book them anymore). And I didn’t register LFT on NHS website I’ll be honest. So will GP be ok to give me a Fit Note if I don’t have any proof?
I am just honestly so exhausted and my eyes are still burning. 😭

I expect so. Only the GP can really tell you. But they don’t ask for proof of other illnesses.

Thank you. I think I only need a few more days so hopefully it will be clear I’m not trying to swing the lead as it were.
