Jurgen Klopp has signed a new contract with Liverpool today. He’s credited his wife Ulla, she wants to stay and ‘his most important contract is with her’. He’s also said in interviews that women in their 50’s are amazing. He seems to be an incredible manager and be a man of the people. I wish he ran the country.

I belive I am in some weired polygamy situation...half the bloody team are in our marriage:D

He has a very progressive mindset - which can only set a good example to all those men who clearly adore him. He’s just fabulous 😍

I’d day Jurgen and Stevie G share the top spot in my DP’s heart. Swiftly followed by Van Dijk and Thiago in joint second. Almost every single morning without fail, he gets up for work, connects his phone to the Bluetooth speaker in the bedroom and I’m woken up to him having a little one man party in the bathroom to this song 😂 Or same guy singing “Jurgen Klopp!! NA NA NA NA NAAAAAA!!” 😂 every single day.

I'm a Liverpool supporter so I'm biased (but right). I've supported them since 1969 so can remember the reigns of every manager from the sainted Shankley onwards.

even players Klopp rarely plays (Origi, Minaminol etc) seem to love him, and I can see why. It's not just his ability as a football manager that appeals. it's his honesty when he gets a bit over the top during games (but rarely afterwards) , his "heart on his sleeve" persona and his sense of humour.

I was surprised last year when a friend who is not a football supporter at all, told me she was so very impressed with him as a person.

I was buzzing when he signed the two year extension on his contract.

And he's a bloody good manager. Second in the league, just, carabo cup winners, in final for fA cup, semi final (and still going strong there) in the European Cup. And they play exiting football.

What's not to love?
