I don't know if people remember DS 14 who can't eat?

Update:

He's now living with my aunt temporarily and he has a private therapist. He's been in hospital for 8 days, the social worker told me yesterday that he has ARFID. This makes sense, and I don't know why they took so long to diagnose it.

It took about two years for my Ds to get his ARFID diagnosis. And that was only after an out of area specialist referral. There is a real lack of knowledge around this eating disorder.

Hope the therapist can help your Ds going forward.

Yes I do remember your thread. I really hope you are all doing better now that you have a diagnosis and a plan. It sounds so tough.
