Dh has just sent his passport for renewal. 🙄 We fly in 8 weeks should I be worried?

Daughter's took couple of months but I know others who've had theirs in 3-4 weeks. Did you do fast track?

My ds got his back in 3 weeks.

I’ve also had a major panic as flying at end of July but have to get passports for 2 countries but the U.K. requires me to send in the kids passports from the other countries which means I won’t have both done in time.
I started the process to apply online but didn’t end up sending the documents and have made an appointment in person for fast track passport. It’s a nightmare

Applied online 2 Apr and new one due to be delivered tmrw so just over 3 wks.

It depends which passport office I think. Ds's is on track to be about 3 weeks I think - glasgow office

So did my ds is it just adults that are longer?

Had email today to say it's been printed and will be sent out in the next few days

Applied on line at the beginning of April and it was delivered on Monday. Adult renewal

Don't think adult or child should make a difference although a child one can take longer if the photo needs to be verified by a 3rd party

Probably depends on backlogs at particular passport offices

Mine was adult with name change and took 3 weeks.
