Flight radar experts needed

I've heard and now plotted on Flight Radar a chinook over Peterborough tonight. After more clicking there seem to be lots of RAF flights up tonight, at least one other chinook, a globe master and others. Is this unusual flight radar watchers?

No, pretty normal. There’s a lot of flight training over the east in the evenings.

Thanks @PandaOrLion We're used to night-flying here, the chinook is unusual. They are so distinctive with their noise. I love flight radar, it drives DH mad that I hear a plane noise and always check it!

Always good to know that there's no concern, although I did wonder if the chinook might have come from Sandringham which worried me but it looks like the Wash.
