Long and complicated so will just give main points..
Death in the family, wife of deceased had a mental breakdown and was sectioned for 28 days, reviewed today and found to have no mental capacity and been sectioned for six months. Elderly. Talking about care package or old folks home when released in october.
In the meantime, They both lived in a council property before this, All deceased side of things has been sorted out by me, as in, closing bank accounts/car insurance etc. Sectioned wife has bills to pay, All her money is in the bank which I have no access to, No idea if she will get better or not at this point so what do I do about the house and her bills until I know what is going on. Neither have a will so it has been shit from start to finish (told them both for years to get their affairs in order)
So lost as never been in this position, Do not have power of attorney, not even next of kin so barely able to get anyone to talk to me, I'm the grandchild trying to sort everything out..
What will happen to the house/bills for six months until she is released to wherever she will be going after section?
