Supermarket vegetables

I am getting really fed up of buying fruit and veg from the supermarket and it being mouldy or manky a day later. I grow lots in the summer so later in the year I will be ok for most things. This week alone I have had mouldy oranges in Aldi, black slimy beans and black lettuce Lidl. Don't get me started on the grapes, Strawberries and Raspberries.

Do I need to go to a more expensive supermarket, or is it happening across the board at the moment?

If you are picking them yourself you need to check them properly before buying them .
Make sure they are stored correctly , some fruit ( bananas I think ) ripen other near by fruit
A orange wont go mouldy overnight so they and the other items must of already been manky when you bought them .
Soft fruits , just buy them when they are in season, berrys that are shipped from other countries are picked before they are ripe and tend to taste of nothing anyway.

I get most of mine from Tescos and I have no problems with things going off quickly
