Flaky friend

I have a relatively new friend who at first seemed great. Our DCs are the same age and very similar in terms of SEN. We tend to meet up weekly for coffee which is fine however in the past month we have arranged to meet up twice at soft plays and once at a circus. Each time she has not turned up and hasn't contacted to say she isn't coming. I didn't mind too much as I still had a good time with DS and DH. She was apologetic when I asked her why she didn't turn up but had a relatively lame excuse. She failed to turn up today at soft play despite confirming yesterday that she will attend. She hasn't been in touch to explain why she hasn't turned up and I haven't contacted her as I'm too annoyed and to be honest it's really upset me, it's hard not to take it personally. Why are some people so flaky? Don't they know its so rude?

I’ve thankfully never encountered someone So rude. I honestly would cut her loose

Get rid. She's not worth any more time or effort.

There's no excuse. Even with anxiety a person can send a text. It's rude to stand people up.

I'd just let this one drift tbh or invite a third person so you're not on your tod.
