Hi All,

So my DD was born with all 10 toes but 3 of them on her left foot didn’t fully develop and they look cut off at the tip with no nails. Doctors all said it wouldn’t effect her, she walks and climbs and everything is normal but the fact that no one has been able to tell me what happened is driving me nuts. Like why would 3 of her toes be short and missing nails while the rest are all perfectly normal? Doctors said it’s more of a
cosmetic defect and not a functional one and told me not to worry. She’s now 1.5 years old, no changes. They’re growing from the back part of the bone but no improvements from the front tip so I’m assuming this is just how it will be. Has anyone else experienced this with themselves, their kids, or any other family members? Any insight would help or atleast be relieving to say the least.

Hi! I know this thread is quite old but I was searching for similar about my baby who is 5 months. Just wondering how things are now and if you found out any more?
