Is this behaviour normal

My 12 year old son is constantly hitting his siblings and just generally acting badly behaved. He doesn't seem to be able to control this, I have tried consequences for his behaviour such as sending him to bed early, taking phone off him, I have tried talking to him but nothing helps. None of my other children are like this and I'm beginning to wonder if something is wrong with him. Can anyone help?

If you think something might be 'wrong' then you need to start by talking to his school. What is behaviour like there?

Are your other DC older or younger?

Mum2346 · 21/04/2022 21:33

I have spoke to his school and they said he had become a bit quiet but his behaviour was fine. That was a while ago and there is no issues there. Some older and some younger.

Is there something wrong in his life that he is taking out on them because they aren't going through the same?

I can't think of anything, it has been going on a while now, well over a year.

Do they eat together? Is he given credit for being the oldest?
