Egg chairs

I have become obsessed with finding a hanging egg chair for my garden.

Trouble is, the few I’ve seen IRL are £££ and I can’t get them home.
There are so many online that are cheaper and can be delivered but I can’t tell their quality. Does anyone have one they’d recommend?

I bought mine on Facebook market place. It fitted in my tiny car with the back seat down. It's one of the best things I've ever bought! I love it

I've got this one with a light cushion. I paid less than £400.

It is really good quality. I registered for an account and logged in and put it in my basket. I didn't check out immediately while I pondered for a couple of days about it. HGW sent me a code for £50 off on day two or three!! Worth a go!

The ones from The Range New Hampshire set are amazing and foldable. Not sure if they are out of your budget though. My cost per use must be mere pence by now

Carbiesdreamhouse · 21/04/2022 21:54

It'll be full of spiders, you will have to stretch your head through webbing to get into it as if you are unbirthing yourself.

PlatinumBrunette · 21/04/2022 22:34

Thank you! Foldable sounds an excellent idea - the range site isn’t behaving right now, but I’ve added the tab to the 1000 I have open right now!
size is important - I’m not small, so I’m looking for a fairly large one, but not double as my garden is tiny.
Spiders don’t bother me 😊 I may have to fight the cats for access though.
Im so obsessed I have a vision of a simple chair totally changing my life 🤪

No you don't!!

My cat completely freaked out when she jumped onto my knee and the chair moved.

We have one I brought from b and m a year or so ago ( this one www.bmstores.co.uk/products/siena-hanging-egg-chair-379400 )

I think it's worth double its price - it sounds dramatic but it really has been life changing for me, in terms of enjoying the garden!

I'm in it at the moment, it's rediculously comfey - and wonderful to just curl up in with the sun beaming down and a gentle sway from the breeze - have I sold it to you yet😏?

Whenever we have family round it's a fight to whoever can get in it first!

😆 It was B&M who started the obsession off! Unfortunately they had only one left and there was no way I could get it home.

i have a zillion tabs open right now trying to choose.

I want one that’s big enough for me to curl up in - like the teardrop ones. But realistically it would be ideal to have a folding one. My garden is so small, I think it would piss me off to see it there all year round 🤷‍♀️
