Hi there it's my birthday tomorrow and I bought tickets for me and DD to see little mix. Through Viagogo. I admit I had no idea they were a reselling site until I just printed them off to find another person's name on them and half the price I paid. Has anyone done this and got into the concert. DD will be gutted.

You should be fine unless it’s an event where you have to show ID to get in (linked to the ticket), like Hamilton. I haven’t seen anything to suggest Little Mix have that sort of requirement.

I had to show ID for George Ezra last week.

Thank you. I printed them and the bar code is there but they are electronic tickets so on a piece of paper. Gosh I hope it's ok.

Next time use twickets, it's a reselling site but you can only sell for face value.

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 22/04/2022 18:17

Thanks for the tip. It mentioned that they are the reselling site they approve of

Twickets?
They really don't approve of Viagogo.
I've bought from it before btw so I'm not being sneery, I paid 5 times the face value, though got given an extra which I then sold for twice face value.

Harry Styles in 2018 btw, it was my 40th and I was desperate to see him.
No regrets, he was worth every overpriced penny but I'd never use it again.

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 22/04/2022 22:34

Yes sorry Twickets. It was at resorts world and when I checked their website it said they are in partnership with ticket factory and for resell they approve only Twickets. I remember years ago we had left some tickets on the train and we bought others. We found them so sold the others to a tout. I don't approve of touts but sometimes it happens

Glad you enjoyed Harry Styles. It's outrageous that they can do that though.

It's happening less now, though still does.
I had no idea Twickets existed back then or I'd have used it.
You live and learn though and so long as you had a great night it was worth it.

If you have tickets to sell from Ticketmaster you can put them straight back on there btw, in around four clicks.
I did it a couple of weeks ago, you can't sell above face value so it's obviously fine to buy from too.
