Anyone have any advice on how to stop a cat digging up flower beds & toileting in them?

It’s our own cat that’s doing it, DP is getting pissed off & says we need to find a way to stop him Confused

That's nature! Only way of stopping it is to keep them indoors with a litter tray.
Better they are burying it than just doing it in the middle of the lawn! Where else do you suggest they go?

You cant stop,it, unless he stays indoors, you could try putting citrus peel down or silver foil but cats sont take much notice of that sometimes. What about a litter tray outdoors.

🙄 fully aware of that @inappropriateraspberry - if I’m honest no I’d rather it on our lawn like the dog does so I could easily pick it up & it wouldn’t be ruining our flowers!

Teabags with a few drops of olbus oil on scattered on the flowerbed should stop them.

Can you have a designated litter area in your garden behind a shed or something? Dig the earth over and the cat will soon find it, then you can pick it up when you clear up after your dog.
