Not sure how to do this

Okay so today I found out my lovely old next door neighbour from childhood has recently passed away.

Feel a bit rocked to be honest; she loved me and I adored her. Sadly things happened and I grew up and moved away and we never stayed in touch.

I really want to lay down some flowers for her but I don't have any of her relatives details to contact re where she is buried.

I feel so sad.

Please can anyone help me with this as I have not a clue how to go about this.

Have you tried looking online for a death notice? They usually have funeral details or at the very least the name of the funeral directors carrying arranging the funeral. I'd start there. If you can't find a notice, ring round the local funeral directors and ask whether they handled her funeral.

The other thing you can do is check with local crematorium and/or graveyard whether they have a service listed or have carried one out recently.
