Bloody gallbladder

I'm awaiting for my gallbladder removal, twice been admitted including last month In which I needed to be admitted for IV antibiotics as it's now infected. I had a ultrasound last week, lots of gallstones which we knew. I have my pre op at the end of may.
This morning, it's flared up again, I am being sick, in so much pain.
Would going back to a and e be right again?

My worry is how many times is it gonna take to be admitted before they get it out!

Hi OP I was in the same position as you and had my gallbladder out in November after my attacks increased to almost daily. I would go back to A&E especially if you've previously had an infection. I hope you're gallbladder free very soon Flowers

Yes go back to ED, better to nip it in the bud if you have cholecystitis again with some Iv antibiotics, antisickness and decent painkillers . It is evidence that you have awful symptoms. If you are lucky they will do your op on the emergency admission.

It ended up calming down, so didn't go to a and e in the end! Still a complete nightmare
