Anyone doing #17 yet? I am stuck on 750.

Do you all start with the same words every day? What's your strategy at the beginning?

Ah never mind. I got it. Took me 171 guesses mind you. It was a strange route to get there.

I got stuck on 558 for a LONG while. Still not sure how that fits in, but oh well.

Does anyone play redactle?

I do! I can't quite work out when it refreshes though - somewhere between 5pm and 7pm it seems. I do allow myself to Google if I have worked out for example "it is the epoch after the Pleistocene" or "it is the last emperor of the Incas" and don't know the actual name.

I always start with the same word - I wonder if I can say what it is or if that would be spoilery? I chose it because while it only has one real meaning I can go in a number of different directions from it's different attributes if it is high scoring. It meant that I got a recent Semantle in two guesses (but I am more likely to be in the 100s/200s so there are probably better words).

I'm stuck at 960 and I've wasted a child free day on this frustrating game!
I'd like to give up and find out the answer so I can never open the page again!

Does anyone play redactle?

I've just played for the first time but am a bit confused with the scoring, as it seems to automatically provide plurals of the word you type in but counts that as an extra guess.

Failing miserably at today's - again. can anyone PM me a hint to get a green? Thank you!

@BowerOfBramble not especially, it's a different track to that. Think about your current concerns, and don't be too put off if a root word is cold (cemantle is a bugger for having cold root words - try slightly longer words and they're often red hot)

You really have to try all the plurals and versions of the same word with this one! I had the shortened version of the answer like 50 guesses ago!
