However at the start of the second act there are some very large puppets that some children find scary.

Enjoy it, I've now seen it twice because my dd rather likes "Bert" and it's amazing.

On the site it says Mary Poppins contains theatrical smoke and fog effects, pyrotechnics, strobe lighting and loud noises so I'd be wary.

I’m pretty sure they have 2 little flash pods at the end of brimstone and treacle when the Mary poppins kills the horrible lady

The sing in the playroom when all the clowns start coming out of the dollhouse is absolute nightmare fuel.
