What’s everyone doing Easter weekend?

We are doing Easter egg hunt.

We’ve got MIL staying, she’s not up to much activity these days so mostly we’ll be staying home. I’m hoping to get DD’s bedroom painted and maybe go to the allotment at some point. DH will work on his car. The DC will play out with whichever one of us might be outdoors. MIL will watch and take naps

I am planning a treasure hunt for Easter, I usually do a load of cryptic clues so I will need to spend some time thinking those up!

I guess I'm staying home due to being mildly sick. Will be sending smartshow 3d Easter slideshows to relatives and enjoying my nephews' stories about their egg hunting.

Working all 4 days and trying to make Easter special for the people we care for.

Son is running a 10k this morning. Dh is on the way to Dover to collect dd who's been on a uni sports tour in Croatia for a week. Out with friends tonight to our local which is reopening after a revamp. Bottomless brunch tomorrow with another group of friends. DH and the dc are going to Wembley on Sunday to watch their team in the FA Cup semi final. I'll probably watch it on a big screen somewhere with family/friends.

I've been spring cleaning so I'll finish that. We've a bit of wallpapering to do.

I'll cook roast beef on Sunday. Might take the DC to the National Trust for an egg hunt.

Happy Easter everyone! Not much planned today - will probably go to DM & DF’s. Still need to get chocolate for DF ( DM only eats posh chocolate which I won’t be able to get hold of in time). Salmon for tea.
Working tomorrow. Looking forward to BGT.
Quiet Sunday. DD too old for an egg hunt. DH cooking Italian roast chicken from The Blokes Cookbook.
Hoping to go out for a pub lunch on Monday, somewhere with a beer garden weather permitting.
Would love to see bluebells at some point.

We don't seem to know how to just relax

@RampantIvy South west, but tomorrow's forecast has actually improved! Very grey today but tomorrow it looks like we'll get a bit of sunshine. Maybe we will do the garden this weekend after all.

We are in bed with covid. I'm not cooking a big family meal this year. It's actually quite nice not to have to plan, cook, host and wash up for 10 like I usually do!
My husband always helps but the 8 others do not. It feels like I've been given time off rather than I'm missing out.......

Dd1 is away with her partner, dd2 and her partner are coming today for the night and we will have a fish platter and champagne in the garden tonight.
Dd3 is revising for exams this morning then will chill with us this afternoon and evening and is recovering from a very social day with her friends yesterday.
Dfil is coming for lunch tomorrow with us all which will be lovely.
Dd3 ,dh and I are heading into town on Sunday for a lunch out together.
Heading to dh and sil on Monday so quite a social weekend and I'm really looking forward to it .

DD is preparing her dissertation presentation, catching up on lectures and revising for exams. No rest for the wicked.

We have visitors (x 3), it’s so wonderful as we haven’t seen them since December 2019.
They arrived at lunchtime and we’ve spent a lovely afternoon talking, walking and drinking tea/eating hot cross buns/cake.
Tonight they are ordering a Chinese.
Tomorrow we’re off to Hastings for the day and having a pub tea on the way home.
Sunday, church and a lovely lamb roast.
They’re leaving early on Monday (about 7am) as have a flight back to Shannon at noon.

We are just going to all relax and prob play monopoly, have a few drinks, nice food and see what happens.

The best weekend really. We have no plans so we will just do whatever we feel like 👍🏻
