Buying gift to send to Australia

Brownduck · 14/04/2022 16:34

My in-laws sent my family a hamper for Easter and now I feel like we have to return the gift.
I used to buy my nieces gift cards from AusPost as I can use it from the UK and have looked at hampers and gifts from their but there’s nothing inspiring. Can anyone suggest any other Australian websites I can buy gifts from.

The British Corner Shop are great for sending UK foods, we sent Marks treats at Christmas. Do you want UK goods or Australian. I also buy vouchers for them to collect from their local favourite restaurants or bakeries. What part of Australia do you want to send it too.

I’m sending to Sydney. I would happily buy from Aus to save on postage fees.
Being able to buy a voucher for a local bakery or deli sounds like a lovely idea!

I only know Melbourne but you could steer the conversation around their favourite places and arrange vouchers.

Haighs and Koko Black do chocolates, Gewruzhaus does gorgeous spices and kitchen stuff and chocolate and tea. Peter Alexander if your nieces might like pyjamas.

For hampers specifically, I've just looked and Maggie Beer does them, they might be worth a go.

Any of those look like they're on the right track or did you have something else in mind?

Couple of options that deliver reliably with good product in Sydney:
Pepe saya for pancake, crumpet hamper
Igift hampers (they do full hampers, not just fruit!)
I use these for both our client and employee gifts on a regular basis.

Byron bay gifts also do beautiful gifts but less hamper-y

You could look on Etsy with an Australian filter.

Look on the Australian Amazon, or buy from a local department store.

I recently sent a new mum meal bundle to a friend in Australia through this company FoodSt and they were really happy with it. Its all home-cooked food and frozen so really great idea for Mum's.
