2nd time lucky I seem to have lost my last post.
I sold my house in town A as I was wanting to move to place b 20 miles away to be near my sister and so my son could go to school with his cousins. Unfortunately I have not managed to buy a house as the market is crazy and I have been outbid. In the meantime I am living with mum in place c which is 10 miles from place a and 25 miles from place b. I am doing loads of miles taking my son to place a for nursery 3 times a week so 6 trips as its there and back twice a day (apart from one day where my mum does 1 pick up) and 4 trips a week to my sister.
My sister has suggested i get a more fuel efficient car in the meantime. My original plan was to get a different car once I have the new house so i could get a hybrid as I could get a charging point and I was also looking at 7 seaters as my son and I often go out with my sister and her family but as there are 6 of us we have to go in separate cars. Once I move and my son starts school in september I will be doing a lot less mileage. She suggested an interim car for a couple of years. Should I just get a fuel efficient car and if so what one would anyone recommend or is there a fuel efficient suv 7 seater that wont require a second mortgage that would fit the bill.
Biscuits and dunking tea for those that reached the end and even half understood my question
