Cushions on the bed - yay or nay?

They look lovely in photos but truthfully...what's the point?
You aren't in there during the day and have to find somewhere to put them when you get into bed.

I don't have any and when I look online see lovely pics of beds 'dressed' with cushions, but in all honesty, what is the point?

It was always a bit of a stereotype to me, women loving cushions on sofas and scatter cushions on beds and visions on window sills and customs all over the place.

I don't like cushions.

If I did have cushions on the bed, the dog would probably throw them off, or chew the zips. He's a much more handsome bed decoration anyway.

I'm none of these things thanks, I just had a few spare cushions my mum gave me and I use them on my bed. Calm down eh!

No, surely they are just a gigantic pain in the arse. I remember watching some American TV show and there was a scene with the couple talking at bedtime while they removed all the cushions from the bed so they could get in. It just seemed so pointless.
