I’m looking to move. I have family in Birmingham, London and E Sussex. Currently live in Scotland.
I know Worcestershire and Gloucestershire well. Have lived in Surrey.
We want to live back down South to be closer to family and better weather. We need decent transport links as have a non driver in the family and don’t want two cars.
Looking for somewhere with lots going on in terms of clubs and community events, friendly, inclusive and not too staid , with a mixture of ages.
Places I’m considering are villages around Bath, the Stroud area and possibly villages round Lewes. Don’t want busy, urban areas with lots of traffic or airplane noise.
Would like countryside on the doorstep, clean air and cultural stuff going on.
Too budget is £800,00 but preferably around £600,000 if possible.
Would like a house with a good sized garden, at least three bedrooms and a dining kitchen. Not overlooked and not too close to other houses.
Am I looking for the moon? I’m driving myself mad with it all. Haven’t put our house on the market yet as panicking if we sell we will never find somewhere to move to. Especially at the moment.
Ideally we would like to be within an easy journey to London and Birmingham too.
