I posted this on the allergy board, but didn't get any replies, so putting it here for traffic.
Anyone had a sudden unidentifiable food allergy? I've had a few major (not anaphylaxis, but that's the worry about what could happen) reactions recently, but have no idea what to. Never had any allergies before, aside from minor hay-fever, so it's been a bit frightening. It's definitely a food allergy, but no clue what. I've been referred to an allergy clinic, but no idea how long that will take.
Anyone had this? It's baffling and quite scary. Suddenly I feel unsafe eating. Having spent a day in hospital recently in absolute agony, I really want to know what's causing it.
