Watching episode one now... Do I persevere?

As in the first ever episode from 1997?! Personally no I wouldn't persevere, it's pretty dated now.

I loved it but I think it improved a lot after the pilot. I've watched it again when the more recent series came out & I still loved it tbh

Oh i loved it! I watched it at the time and then when the new series came out I re-watched and loved it!
