Such a bloody sad watch. Hate to think of people suffering like this. 😢

Just watched it on iplayer as its warmer in bed with the laptop than sat on the sofa downstairs. It was very sad and so damn real, so many of us feeling this constant anxiety, how the hell are millions of us meant to make ends meet? :(

It made me cry. It made me remember 1975, I was a young mum with a toddler and baby and terrified of the gas and electric bills. Christmas was coming and I was short of money but took the children to the playgroup Christmas fayre. I won the raffle! It was a hamper, someone offered to drop it off for me when they were driving home but I was so excited and didn't want to let it out of my sight so I balanced it on the pram and staggered home.

Nearly 50 years later it made me remember those feelings so well so I cried. I haven't been shopping for a while, I've had covid and been ill for six weeks but if I can drag myself to the supermarket tomorrow I will be buying some stuff for the food bank.
