Yes, the Thames clipper.

superram · 11/04/2022 16:20

Possibly now sponsored by Uber.

Weepingwillows12 · 11/04/2022 16:20

You can go on the Thames clippers. I think they may be run by Uber now. Website is www.thamesclippers.com.

You can get it from by the London Eye to Docklands and go on the DLR. Or get off at the Tower of London.

gogohm · 11/04/2022 16:34

Uber boat - take it to Greenwich and take the tube back ... we picked it up by the London eye

Greyingmumto3 · 11/04/2022 16:35

I’m not sure if they still do it as we’ve found their deals more limited since covid , but if you have Tesco club card vouchers we used them for a family ticket a few years ago .
We went from Greenwich all the way up to Westminster .

msbevvy · 11/04/2022 16:36

You can ride for free on the Woolwich ferry.

If you fall in a Police Launch will pick you up - hopefully. But I think they used to pump your stomach out too, so best to fall in before that pricey lunch. Grin

FrankLeeSpeaking · 11/04/2022 16:50

Yep, you can get on at Westminster Pier and go down to Tower Bridge and back again. In the right tides, you can also go to Hampton Court Palace.

Yes. Get on at Millbank or Westminster and then straight down to the Tower and walk back a bit.

Every 30 mins- the timetables are a bit off at the moment. Tip-get on at Millbank you will get a good choice of seats (Most people get on on London Eye or Westminster)

LovelyYellowLabrador · 11/04/2022 17:06

Brilliant thanks so much

Why did they pump peoples stomachs ? Due to the amount of sewage in there or something ? Or dead bodies ?

The water was so polluted. It's not now. I believe there is the occasional salmon and you might get bitten by a seal (all free!)

LovelyYellowLabrador · 11/04/2022 17:15

Bloody hell 🤣🤣

MySecretHistory · 11/04/2022 17:28

The water is very brown at the moment

Extinction Rebellion dont seem to be finding it a problem as the police and RNLI go in to save them
