Taking Formula on Aeroplane

Taking my DGS to Portugal next week.
Been a while since i travelled with a Baby.

Anyone know if I'd able to take a tub of formula milk in my hand luggage?
Flying with Ryan Air. Can't see any guidance online.

Thanks in advance.

By tub, do you mean the powder? I can't see why that would be an issue. If you are looking for milk for the flight, you can buy it after security in Boots in pre-made form. You can also order in advance so you just have to collect it before you get on the plane.

Yes formula powder. I'm paranoid my case will "go missing" so want to take a tub on my hand luggage too.
Thank you I didn't realise this you could pre order. Just through the normal Boots website? He's on a special type that's only available in the bigger supermarkets etc

I've never had a problem taking individual doses of formula powder in plastic containers. It's not a restricted item so can't see what the issue would be.

What formula is it? You can buy most of them in Portugal, cheaper than here.
