We have an infestation of something and I have absolutely no idea what they are or what they’re interested in so I can’t get rid of them. I’m killing up to 100 of the fuckers every single day with window cleaner but they just aren’t going away.
They seem to mostly jump but do also fly, they’re small and black and they’re only ever found on the windows. Primarily the kitchen window but also sometimes the living room one. They don’t seem interested in food of any sort nor are they interested in the drains or my houseplants (I added sticky traps to the soil to check but they’re totally clear). They look like fungus gnats but they aren’t into my houseplants so not sure why they’d be in our home?
I’m honestly losing my marbles, it’s been over a week now and it isn’t getting any better. We initially thought they were from the flowers DH bought me for Mother’s Day but they went in the bin ages ago now so it can’t be. Please help!
