Who's getting it? Who's not? And your reasons for either please?

I have a scar right on one of my elevenses. It alleviates how it looks. I'd of had it anyway to be honest.

You can see it on the right it's on the left in real life. It's more prominent if I frown etc but Botox makes it less visible.

I have it once a year. With a doctor not someone who does it from your home etc.

My face isn't frozen.

I was watching MIC the other day and all of them look like they've had it.
They're at least 19 years younger than I am , made me wonder if I've missed something!

I haven’t but I plan to in the next year once I stop breastfeeding. I’m 41 and my youngest is 6 months. I look tired and just want to look more fresh. It may be that filler is more what I need.

I tried it in my forehead and hated it. I have hooded eyes anyway but they felt even heavier than usual, my forehead felt heavy and I felt permanently "tired" in my eyes.

Thankfully it only lasted about 6 weeks, I could literally tell one morning it had started wearing off one day when I woke up before I'd even checked in a mirror.

Bigbouncingbaby · 09/04/2022 19:29

I have it every 3 months in my forehead and maybe 6 monthly eyes . Absolutely love it 🥰 wouldn’t be without it !!!!

mistermagpie · 09/04/2022 19:42

I'm 41 and have it for my number 11s and a little bit in my forehead. I once had it for my crows feet too but felt like a looked a bit dead behind the eyes when I smiled! It's a fine balance, I've got hooded eyes too so if I get it in my forehead it needs to be quite high up. The number 11s were my main concern, I looked angry and squinty all the time before and now they have gone.

I have it about every 6 months.

To be fair, either it's a slippery slope or I'm just getting more bothered by aging, but previously I wouldn't have got anything done and now there are various cosmetic things I would consider if I had the money (dont and never will) and didn't feel a bit silly about it. This does concern me a bit, not that I'm going to accidentally go and get a facelift, but that I've become someone I didn't think I was. That probably makes no sense!

Petronus · 09/04/2022 19:48

No. I’ve thought about it, because I’ve got quite deep 11s, but we’ve not got enough disposable income that I wouldn’t rather do fun stuff with the money. I do tend to be quite low maintenance in terms of beauty and treatments so it wasn’t really a hard decision.

I have it on my forehead lines. I am 50 and only started when I was 50. I love it. Makes me look refreshed, but have full movement and look natural/ like me. Someone will come along shortly and say they can all ways spot botox and it never looks goodGrin

@ZaraSizeMedium
I have a very hooded left eye and the Botox I get specifically lifts it a bit. Not by a huge amount but it is noticeable and I can at least get the mascara on again. A skilled doctor should be able to lift your eyes by a bit.
