Meant to fly to Italy, but have tested positive for covid.

If by the time I fly I still have a positive lateral flow can I fly??? I'm double jabbed.

I think it would be selfish to. It's not just about your health

When is the flight? If it’s more that 10 days since testing positive for covid you can get a doctor’s not certifying you’re got to fly even if you’re still testing positive.

A friend and I went on holiday recently and did this - she got covid just under 2 weeks before our flight and tested positive for over 10 days, but had a note certifying she was outside the isolation period. She was still testing positive while we were away but not infectious

When is your flight and what are the rules in Italy?

Where I live you're clear after 7/10 days but eg Spain want you to be clear 14 days clear. So even though I could fly domestically I couldn't get on a plane to Spain until 14 days have passed (I believe this has recently or will shortly change).

Definitely don't travel if you still have symptoms though.
