Hi, quick question before I call them on Monday to check and spend half the weekend updating my CV, does anyone have a rough idea of the working hours of a local authority licensing officer?
I have seen a job advertised which I am interested in applying for which is full time. Am I right in assuming that the hours of work also include potentially visiting licensed units on weekend evenings to ensure that they are compliant? So if it is 37 hours a week it is not necessarily office hours.
I need to tidy up my CV before applying and I am going to call them on Monday to double check this but just thought I would ask the question here in case anyone could gibberish me a rough idea first.
At the moment I work part time and don't pay any childcare costs. If I went to full time with the salary they are offering I would and up out of pocket as I would need to pay for wrap around care if it was a Monday to fri 9-5 role. If there was flexibility in the hours working this would make it much more doable.
