Anyone doing anything eggciting?! Sorry couldn’t resist! I’m working on the Sat, DH Good Friday & Sat. DD13 is too old for egg hunts etc & is usually loath to go anywhere with us. You’re “ supposed” to cook roast lamb but DH isn’t a fan. May still do a roast, possibly on the Monday. I’m not even sure if we’ll bother with chocolate eggs. I will definitely have the largest bag of mini eggs available though!

On good Friday my in laws are visiting, on the Saturday we have a Easter event at a nearby church and then on Easter Sunday we will go to our church service while Dh will stay home and prepare roast lamb and hide a small amount of eggs for our children. We love lamb in this house but it is expensive so only have it for special occasions so very much looking forward to my Easter Sunday roast!

I am going to 5 star spa hotel Friday to Sunday and then cooking a lamb roast for my adult DC Sunday dinner time.

I'm going to Northumberland for a long weekend, staying near Hexham, very close to the wall.

A week in a holiday cottage in North Devon. Beach walks, pub lunches, reading books. Easter egg hunt in the cottage 🐣

I'm off to the Lake District for a week on good Fri. We will set off early to avoid traffic but only live an hour and a half away.

It will be a week of relaxing/walks/nice food for us.

For the first time in many, many years, I have the whole 4 days off. We have booked a brief one night trip to a seaside resort and have some lovely plans. Unfortunately I now have COVID and am keeping everything crossed DH doesn’t get it. If he does our little break will likely need to be cancelled.

Easter Monday will be spent driving DS1 back to university.
