I've won a bid on a council house - what happens next?

I'd be so grateful for some advice on this, please do let me know if it's needs to be moved.

I won a bid on a HA property last night. I haven't had an email or notification to say that but my shortlist position is 1.

What happens next? Can someone else be offered it above me or will that only happen if I decline it (I won't - it's perfect for my DD and I).

How quickly do the council get in touch if I have won? Am I allowed to view the property and how long before I potentially get the keys?

I am so excited but nervous. My DD and I escaped DV last year and have been crashing with my parents. I earn ok but FT nursery fees mean that renting a house privately in the area where my support network are is just never going to happen and this house is less than 2 miles from my parents!

i have been “provisionally offered” a house with the council what does this mean? Also the lady was supposed to phone to me today about it but didn’t, I phoned the office and emailed 3 times and she said she would phone me later but never ended up doing. What does this mean? I’m so confused and I’m worried I’ve got my hopes up for nothing :(

Hi I was, in position 2 for a property and wen I looked last week it said bid unsuccessful but I've looked again today, and says position 2 again and housing said that the person in position 1 wasn't interested anymore does this mean I might have a chance as been position 2 for a few houses and not been successful any body else in same position
