I’m confused

So I threw my boyfriend out 2 weeks ago but I live in a small village and he knows everyone.
I told him to leave because I had had enough of him hurting me and cheating on me.
Now I’m hated by people because I’m a narcissist.
I feel trapped because I don’t want to run into anyone I know but I don’t know what to do?

He's bad mouthed you. Tell the people you care about the truth and ignore the rest.

Stories like this abound in small villages. People don't hate you, they've just heard his side of the story . Tell a few people your side, things will even out. Next week there will be something else happening and your story will be forgotten.
