Help with Smart Metre

Hi.
Do Smart metres automatically update the new price rise, or does the customer have to do it?
My metre isn't showing any significant change in daily use costs.

Are you on the standard variable rate or a fixed rate? The price changes only affected the variable rate tariff. What prices is it showing?

I'm on Eon's fix online v47, fixed until September.
So far today I've had the heating on for about 9 hours. The hot water on for about 2 hours and the metre is showing £1.62
Live in a 4 bedroom new build.

If you are on a fixed rate then your prices won't change until your fix ends
