School Milk

DS is in Year 2, we've had a message to pay for milk for the next term but nothing has appeared on Parent pay for me to order it.

I've queried it at school this morning, who have told me it's free for Year 2 pupils, they don't pay until Year 3 - so why have I been paying for the last 2 years?

I thought it was only free in Nursery and Reception, or that's what's we were told. Can anybody confirm which is correct please?

He loves his milk and we only have until Friday to pay, I have asked the Receptionist to double check what she's been told as she's a temp and is new to the school system.

For my own childrens school and the one I work at, you pay once they are 5.

Has she mixed it up with universal free school meals? They're free until the end of year two but milk is only free until the term after their fifth birthday.

Definitely only free until they're 5 (I work in Reception).
Think she's probably got confused with school meals!
