Saw this CF on YouTube. Made me laugh but seriously I can’t believe someone would do this. Redditch UK

Thoughts please.

I have neighbours that do this

Winterfellismyhome · 05/04/2022 16:17

So petty and her parking is shit

bluebaul · 05/04/2022 16:19

I would assume this is just a a set up

user50and · 05/04/2022 16:20

OMG that has wound me right up and I don't even live there 🤣

SamphirethePogoingStickerist · 05/04/2022 16:21

That hit my Facebook feed too. Seems neighbour has some unknown dislike of the woman in the first car, who can't be arsed to find out why, what etc, because it's funny and doesn't put her out all that much, there is plenty of parking.

Clutterbugsmum · 05/04/2022 16:33

She doesn't park it's more she just stops the car somewhere near the curb.

NippyWoowoo · 05/04/2022 17:04

The suitable phrase for any passenger is "it's ok, I can take a taxi to the kerb"

thenewduchessoflapland · 05/04/2022 17:12

Tbf the person in the Sliver car has had the last laugh here as it's gone viral so everyone who knows the woman in the red car now knows how petty she is and that's embarrassing.

Suzi888 · 05/04/2022 17:14

Oh my….🤣 imagine having all that time on your hands.
Parking can be a nightmare here too, made worse by our neighbour trying to make out I damage his car with my driving. I park car, he goes out to inspect his car straight after.

Spaghag · 05/04/2022 17:18

Oh yes. Lots of people do this!

Does anyone know what level of pettiness we're talking about? Has woman B got two cars & is reserving the space for her partner? Or does she just have that one car & takes pleasure from being a twat?

Sapphirejane · 05/04/2022 17:20

Two houses on my street do this, they all have drives but don’t like people parking on the road outside their house so do some odd car ballet several times a day to make sure to reserve the space outside their house. It’s really pathetic.

sanityisamyth · 05/04/2022 17:21

Grade A CF. I wonder why. Because they could? Because they were expecting guests to "save them a space"? Either way they're pathetic!

starfishmummy · 05/04/2022 17:25

I have a neighbour who does this to keep a space for her visiting daughter. She moves her car back when the daughter arrives.

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 05/04/2022 17:34

My parents have neighbours like this. Extremely territorial about the space outside their house, but happily park their multiple cars in front of everyone else's, including my dps house despite knowing they have limited mobility (which other neighbours go out of their way to accommodate sometimes if they see there is nowhere left near my parents house. They've never asked for this)

My parents have just got permission for a driveway, partly because of their behaviour partly to get an electric car.

Frlrlrubert · 05/04/2022 17:39

My neighbour used to park in the middle between our drives so I couldn't. We had two cars and them one, so he left his drive empty simply to inconvenience me. If I was already there he'd park touching my bumper.

Before anyone says his drive might have been tricky to park on, it wasn't. He managed it for his daily 6-7am hoovering of the seats when I was pregnant and suffering, under my open bedroom window in the height of summer.

That wasn't their only CF behaviour.

We moved in the end.

MissMaple82 · 05/04/2022 17:51

@bluebaul

I would assume this is just a a set up
Haha you would assume wrong!
Readyforspring · 05/04/2022 17:55

If someone purposely parked to touch my bumper id bumper shove it out the way. And have done. They didnt do It again

ASaucerfulOfSecrets · 05/04/2022 17:56

I lived across the road from 2 houses that were like that. The irony being both had ample drives and parking at the rear of the house.

One evening neighbour had just had a brand new red fiesta and moved it to within millimetres of neighbours car. It was also bins night.
Oh how I laughed the next morning when I woke up to see the wheelie bin implanted in the side of it leaving a lovely big dent.

Moral of the story, if you're going to act like a twat, don't do it on a windy bin night.

bluebaul · 05/04/2022 18:00

Haha you would assume wrong!

Honestly I just don't believe everything I see in the internet. So many of these videos are simply made for views. It's no surprise I'm sceptical.
