Marking my spot of the new thread. I’ve got to 990, just bumbling around trying to think of synonyms.

I solved Semantle #67 in 288 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 0.47. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #26. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 42.46 (991/1000). semantle.novalis.org/

Despite the high number of guesses, that was actually a lot less frustrating than yesterday when I had SO many high greens and just couldn't get it. Today was more of a scattergun approach!

Yes you are a bit. It’s a word that might go with 839 but those other words wouldn’t get me there.

Once again my trusty 35 year old Oxford thesaurus, given to me by my lovely teacher when I was ten, proved much better than any online version when I dragged it out!

823 was my highest green before I got it, 641 was 2 guesses before I got it. They are very useful.
