I am due to phone the doctor tomorrow but I need some support/advice. Have pcos did have regular periods after birth 4 years ago but covid jab stopped that! They've only just come back but during ovulation and period I get really bad bilateral shoulder and neck pain. It's like stiff with occasional shooting down my arm. I've had a scan that shows 1 pcos ovary and one normal. GP ultrasound showed nothing. An ultrasound of abdo showed alot of gas. During these periods I have terrible wind and sometimes loose bowels all connected ?

I think diarrhoea during your period is pretty common... something hormonal causes it iirc. Weirdly a couple of ibuprofen stops me getting the runs.
I don't know about the shoulder pain though I'm afraid. Sorry!

Shoulder pain could be a result of trapped wind. I had a laparoscopic procedure & they pump your stomach full of air to see & afterwards the pain in my shoulders/neck/back was beyond excruciating & it was to do with the trapped wind

The wind is foul too.

I did Google and it said something about endometriosis but I've had several internals and scans due to pcos and fertility. However I know it can only be properly diagnosed via laparoscopy
