Tesco job vacancies enquiry

Hello,
Does anyone have experience with Tesco job applications
I've applied for a job at Tesco, I've been given an interview which I'm delighted with but I've just noticed on the add it says temp
Infact all the adds for tesco jobs have temp
Does this mean I could work for a few months and then be let go? I really need a permanent employment

Also any advice on how to smash the interview? I'm quite nervous, many years experience in customer service (so used to being shouted at, ranted to, having the patience of a Saint) but interviews turn me in a stumbling baboon

I work in a shop. They're hot on customer service and supporting eachother (in reality that doesn't happen some of the time due to being short staffed). Might be worth thinking of a situation where you've given good customer and colleague support. Hope it goes ok.

Also, we're only taking people on for three months right now. I think it's to allow flexibility - if member of staff is good and financially we haven't taken a bad hit with everything going on, we'll keep them on - employment hours are set by head office depending on takings.

Hope it goes ok. You've got experience of working with customers, which goes in your favour. Also, you might be able to get across that you're used to working with many different age groups and are used to all sorts of customers and feel you can handle tricky situations well.

Sorry to bomb in on an old thread - but I found you in a search about applying for Tesco jobs and here I am 😃.
I'm just looking for advice as my teen has applied for a job there recently and have completed the right to work/dbs thing - holding on for an interview and we are looking for interview tips - first job/no experience but desperate to get started after lower 6th form.
