I'm on a trip down memory lane (at the grand age of 32 gimmer) after spotting a young girl in the supermarket yesterday wearing a cross body bag that I had about 20 years ago. It was dark denim - we were cool with our denim everything - and had a little light blue and white puppy with a patch on one eye. Sort of like Blue from Blue's Clues, but not. Does anyone else remember this range? I remember I had a phone case with a tiger on it that said "Easy" underneath, and there were some Mad Cow and Funky Monkey things too. It was cool just after Groovy Chick/Bang on the Door.

Bonus points if anyone has any photos of the stuff because my DH thinks I'm mad, but it's because he wasn't a teenaged girl back then, and Max Power magazine didn't feature it Hmm.

Can't remember the blue dog but I've been using this Bang on The Door mug for 20+ years since I got it with an Easter Egg around 2001!

Was it the David and Goliath range? Some examples here

I think I'm getting my pencil cases jumbled! I definitely had some of the WithIt stuff - but the dog in that range isn't the one I'm thinking of.

The wee dog looked a bit like one of those Poo-chi robot dogs in terms of the shape - everything about it was sort of squoval.

I loved bang on the door!

Antarcticant · 03/04/2022 19:18

Nothing will ever compare to Fido Dido of the late 1980s.

BertieBotts · 03/04/2022 19:21

I remember this stuff and it was all phrases wasn't it? Easy Tiger, groovy chick.

Was the dog tatty teddy? I loathed that but it was all the rage at my school.

MichelleScarn · 03/04/2022 19:31

sqirrelfriends · 03/04/2022 19:40

Paul frank everything at that age, filled with smelly gel pens and a bendy ruler.

@MichelleScarn

Not snatch? Is that too far back?
Not Snatch - although I did have Snatch bedcovers, curtains, light shade and paper bin in my bedroom c.1993-1997 Grin

I had loads of Bang on the Door stationery. Also those Gul wetsuit pencil cases.

Comedycook · 03/04/2022 20:35

Was it the Chipie range...I can't remember if they sold it in the UK...I used to get it from the hypermarkets in Calais when my parents took me!

duvetdayforeveryone · 03/04/2022 20:37

I remember bubblegum characters being sold at Clinton Cards.

NuffSaidSam · 03/04/2022 20:37

I've found my people 😂

I loved the bang on the door stuff.

And my Gul pencil case.

Uptohighdoh · 03/04/2022 20:38

NuffSaidSam · 03/04/2022 20:39

Does anyone remember Stationery Box? For those who couldn't afford WHSmith.

RoonilWazlib21 · 03/04/2022 20:44

Was it this little guy? It's from the Tatty Teddy and blue nose friends collection.

But not tatty teddy, which was different. This one had smooth outlines.

I loved my Stationary Box Rainforest fountain pen. And I had a tin… some sort of brightly coloured print on it. come to think about it, I think my last tin is somewhere in this house.

I have a bang on the door mug I was given for a birthday in 2001.
